Three (3) components were addressed in the engagement:

  1. System Integrator (SI) operations contract – ISG surveyed other states and compared the WA contract terms and pricing to similar operations, resulting in a more favorable negotiating position and strategy for Washington. The contract was renegotiated resulting in significant annual cost savings.

  2. Call Center operations contract – ISG also reviewed the call center contract and compared to similar contracts in other jurisdictions, resulting in an amended contract that is more favorable to Washington.

  3. Call Center Request for Proposal (RFP) – ISG assisted HBE in developing business and technical requirements for re-procuring a call center vendor at the end of the renewal options of the current contract.
