Program Summary

A large public-sector organization launched a major technology modernization initiative to replace legacy systems supporting the administration of property taxes across numerous taxing jurisdictions and billions of dollars in annual collections. The complex program required strong governance, vendor oversight, procurement support, and a modern delivery approach to successfully transition from planning into implementation.

Our Solution

ISG provides delivery management services for the initiative, leading program governance, vendor management, implementation strategy, and product delivery. Our team established governance and reporting structures, implemented RAID management processes, and developed the delivery methodology supporting design, development, and implementation.

ISG also led procurement and vendor selection activities for the implementation contractor and introduced an iterative delivery approach to support development of a modern, ERP-enabled tax administration system.

Our work includes leading a continuous improvement workstream through which the program regularly evaluates performance, assesses progress against schedule and budget constraints, and identifies and implements adjustments to improve delivery efficiency, team effectiveness, and overall program outcomes.
