Public-Sector Benefits Platform Modernization

Program Summary

A public-sector organization responsible for administering a large-scale benefits marketplace needed to modernize a highly stable but aging enterprise application. The platform relied on a monolithic architecture and non-cloud-native technologies that were approaching end of life, limiting the organization’s ability to efficiently scale components and deliver system enhancements.

The modernization initiative focused on transitioning to a more flexible, modular, cloud-based architecture while maintaining system stability, improving the user experience, strengthening security, and supporting more efficient back-office operations.

Our Solution

ISG provided independent Quality Assurance services throughout the modernization effort, helping the organization identify and manage risks associated with a major transition from on-premises infrastructure to a modern cloud environment.

As the project approached go-live, ISG recommended engaging an independent technical specialist to validate the migration approach. The assessment identified areas requiring additional attention prior to deployment, allowing the project team to address those recommendations before launch.

ISG’s QA team provided independent insight and helped connect the project with specialized expertise at a critical point in the implementation.
