Our ICF Aligned Approach
All coaching engagements are delivered by experienced professionals who adhere to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics. This looks like:
-
Clearly defined agreements that establish scope, confidentiality, and expectations
-
A confidential, thought-provoking, and creative process using deep self-reflection
-
Inspiring leaders to maximize their personal and professional potential
-
Empowering coachees to discover their own answers rather than providing solutions
This approach enables the coachee to determine their needs and drive the conversation session by session.
Coaching Approaches, Frameworks, & Assessments
Our team of seasoned coaches draws from globally recognized coaching approaches and leadership development frameworks, including Co-Active, Hudson, Corporate Coach Training, and the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP). We partner with leaders and teams using evidence-based tools and frameworks such as LCP, VIA Character Strengths, and Immunity to Change, while remaining adaptable and client-centered, selecting the frameworks, assessments, and techniques that best support each person's goals and context.

ISG provided 1:1 coaching to 14 agency leaders to develop the skills needed for effective transformational leadership. Using a three-phase approach – Assess, Learn, and Act – ensured that executive leaders built the necessary new skills and had an opportunity to actively apply them to drive meaningful organizational change. This approach included leadership and communication style assessments, individualized leadership development plans, and ongoing 1:1 coaching.

Our Approach to Professional Coaching
ISG offers professional, executive, and leadership coaching for individuals and teams at every level of the organization, from individual contributors and emerging managers to experienced managers and senior executives, helping them strengthen their effectiveness, navigate challenges, and achieve meaningful growth.
Every engagement is tailored to the person and moment, whether that's breaking through a plateau, stepping into a new leadership role, navigating a change initiative, or simply having a confidential space to think through challenges and unlock potential. Because coaching is client-led, each engagement evolves around the goals, opportunities, and challenges that matter most, fostering both immediate progress and long-term growth.
Unlike many coaching providers, our coaches bring both professional coaching expertise and hands-on change management experience. They have contributed to thought leadership on the intersection of coaching and change, partnering with both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Association for Change Management Professionals (ACMP). This unique combination of expertise enables us to support individuals who are navigating significant change, leading complex transformation efforts, or serving in change leadership roles. We also partner directly with organizational change management teams, using coaching to strengthen leader readiness, resilience, adoption, and overall change readiness.

Our Coaching Services
ISG’s professional coaching services can be a stand-up engagement, or complementary to other People & Performance offerings (including facilitation, organizational health, organization change management work) or integrated into ISG or other engagements to support your broader transformation and organizational goals.

Coaching Plan Journey - Sample:
While every coaching engagement is tailored to the individual and their goals, we typically recommend the following proven approach to establish coaching priorities, define meaningful outcomes, and create a foundation for ongoing growth and development.

Individual Professional, Executive & Leadership Coaching
We provide coaching for intact teams as well as cohort-based leadership groups. Whether the goal is improving team effectiveness, strengthening leadership capability, building accountability, or supporting organizational change, we design coaching experiences that create meaningful learning and sustainable results. By supporting teams and cohorts over time, coaching helps sustain momentum, reinforce new behaviors, and create accountability for achieving shared goals together.
Team Coaching
For leadership teams, project teams, and cross-functional teams with shared goals and accountability. Through ongoing, dialogue-based coaching, teams and groups build the awareness and practices needed to achieve their objectives and adapt in real time.
Group Coaching
For cohorts of leaders, managers, or professionals who learn together while pursuing individual development goals. Group coaching works well after a leadership or skill-building workshop to help individuals on separate teams practice and support each other in building a competency or behavior over time.
Our Team and Group Coaching Philosophy
Our team and group coaching engagements provide a structured yet flexible environment for sustained progress. Typically delivered through ongoing sessions over time, this approach enables teams to:
-
Keep priorities and goals front and center
-
Strengthen communication and collaboration practices
-
Build self-sufficiency and shared ownership
-
Reflect, adapt, and respond to change effectively
